MS Dhoni Launches Own Bike Racing Team
Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni's passion for bikes is well known. He has a personal collection of bikes and is officially the brad ambassador of a TVS bike and Ashok Leyland too. Now he has entered the world of motorcycle racing by launching his own bike racing team.
MS Dhoni's bike racing team has been named as the MSD R-N Team India and it is competing in the FIM Supersport World Championship. The team which is based in the UK will be riding the Kawasaki ZX-6R.

The FIM Supersport World Championship is a 17 race competition and 10 of the races are already over. MS Dhoni's racing team has competed in two of these races and will be competing in all the races of the 2013 season.
The MSD R-N Racing Team India will mark its Indian Debut next year when the championship makes its first India appearance. The team consists of two riders Florian Marino from France and Dan Linfoot from Great Britain. Both the riders have proven track records in the championship with Marino having four victories and Linfoot with two.
MSD R-N Racing Team India's team principal Amit Sandill has stated that the initial aim of the team was to popularize the sport in India. He also said the team was keen to popularize the sport in all Asian countries.
Do not be surprised if you see MS Dhoni himself riding a few laps on the Kawasaki ZX-6R when the championship enters its Indian leg. MS Dhoni is said to be also keen to start a racing academy in India too.
