Kawasaki Ninja 300R Heading To India
Kawasaki, the Japanese sports bike manufacturer will soon expand its Ninja family in India by adding new Ninja 300R. The Kawasaki Ninja 300R's India launch has not been confirmed officially but the company is running extensive tests on its performance and will soon begin road testing it.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300R will be sold along with the existing 250R. Bajaj Auto which handles the production and marketing of Kawasaki models in India has so far maintained a high level of secrecy around the 300R.

The Ninja 300R is visually similar to the 250R. The only difference between the two bikes is the slightly larger 300cc engine in the 300R. This new engine is capable of churning out close to 40bhp and 27Nm of torque @10000rpm. The engine is mated with a siz speed transmission.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300R's India launch can be expected to happen any where between late 2012 and early 2013. The bike was developed as a replacement of the Ninja 250R in the American market but Kawasaki has decided not replace the new bike with the 250R in India. Instead we will have two similar but yet different Ninja's to ride.
The new Kawasaki Ninja will be slightly more expensive than the 250R. Expect to pay at least Rs.75,000 more to the 300R when compared with the price of the 250R.
