The Z40 watches are limited edition chronograph watches from Kawasaki to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Z1.
The limited edition Z40 watch sports the 1972 Z1 iconic paint and graphic. The face of the watch features an original style Kawasaki logo along with a Z1 DOHC side panel badge.
The rear of watch features a Kawasaki Z40 Limited Edition logo along with a unique watch edition number.
The Kawasaki Z1 was rolled out in 1972. Often it has been referred to as the world's first superbike.
This limited edition chronograph watch will be officially launched at the main German motorcycle show, Intermot, on 2October.
Its been 40 years since the Kawasaki Zfamily started. For those who not aware of the history, the iconic Kawasaki Z1 in 1972 started the Z series of bikes. Inorder to celebrate 40 years of Z family existence, Kawasaki has unveiled a limited edition Kawasaki Z40 watch.
The limited edition Z40 Kawasaki Chronographic watch will be officially launched at the main German motorcycle show, Intermot, on 2 October. It was 40 years back, when the Z1 came to Europe and was also displayed in Germany for the very first time.
The number of watches for production has been limited to 903, inorder to denote the engine capacity of the Kawasaki Z1.
The key features of the watch are:
- Design of watch reflects the 1972 Z1 iconic paint and graphic treatment
- Face of watch features original style Kawasaki logo and Z1 DOHC side panel badge
- Reverse of watch features Z40 logo and unique watch edition number
- Watch only available in the European market as Kawasaki genuine accessory
- Production run limited to just 903 pieces (the same as Z1 engine size at 903cc)
- Supplied in a colour coded and branded case featuring embossed Z40 logo
- Certificate of authenticity accompanies each watch
- Four dial chronograph/tachymeter function and water resistant to 5 ATM
- Watch made in stainless steel by respected Austrian manufacturer Hirsch
