India's largest two wheeler manufacturer, Hero Moto Corp is all set to roll-out their first product without the assistance of Honda Technology by 2013-2014, since parting ways with Japan's Honda.

The company after parting ways with Honda, has partnered up with various technology partners like EBR, AVL and Engines Engineering.

Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua commented on this development. He said, "With EBR, we are focusing on the premium bikes, while with AVL and Engines Engineering, we are focusing in the other segments. We also have our own R&D, focusing on new product development."

Hero Moto corp is also keeping a close watch on the African and Latin American markets. The company globally plans to sell 10 millions units in the next 5 years with exports to be about 10 per cent of its total sales.
