Hero To Launch CBZ X-treme, Hunk Facelift Models
India's largest two wheeler maker, Hero Motocorp is giving a facelift to its 150cc motorcycle line up. The models that are going under the scissors include the company's CBZ X-treme and Hunk motorbikes.
However, there won't be any major changes with the bikes only getting minor cosmetic upgrades. Hero is expected to roll out the facelifted models in a few months.
Also the two wheeler manufacturer will have to drop the Honda name from its bikes according to the agreement at the time of split with its long-time Japanese partner. Expect the new CBZ X-treme and Hunk to sport new paint and stickers for the refreshed models.
Both the CBZ X-treme and Hunk motorcycles are powered by the 150cc four stroke engine sourced from Honda Unicorn. The 149.1cc engine produces a peak power of 14.4 PS at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 12.8 Nm at 6500 rpm.
Both bikes feature an electric starter as standard and rear disc brake as option. The CBZ X-treme and Hunk are currently priced around Rs 68,000 and Rs 62,000 respectively.
