Unique Ferrari Motorcycle Auctioned For $137,700

The iconic machine was built by David Kay Engineering of Britain between 1990 and 1995. It's a unique Ferrari motorbike, officially sanctioned by Piero Ferrari in 1990, two years after his father Enzo passed away.
Dave Kay had written to Ferrari to ask if he could create a motorcycle as a tribute to the late Enzo, who began his own racing career on bikes. The only Ferrai motorcycle was completely handcrafted and consumed 3,000 hours to make it a product model.
The motorcycle is fitted by an un-Ferrari four-cylinder, 900cc engine, producing 105bhp and able to hit 60mph in under three seconds. The one-off Ferrari motorcycle was owned by a British collector for the past 17 years. However, the identity of the lucky buyer, who bought the never to be created motorbike, is unknown.
