Bajaj Is The World's Most Profitable Auto Company
Bajaj Auto's operating profit before taxes and interest stood at Rs 4,000 crores which is about 20.2% making it the top in the automobile industry around the world. The company has also been bestowed with the company of the year award by Economic Times.
The operating profit of the company is almost two fold of other Indian companies. Bajaj Auto sold over 38 lakh units in 2011-12 fiscal.
The company also exports 36 per cent of its over all production making it the biggest two-wheeler exporter in terms of percentage of total production exported. Interestingly, Bajaj Auto is the market leader in 12 among 36 of its export markets.
