Bajaj Recalls Pulsar 220 DTSi Over Faulty Starter

According to reports, not all Pulsar 220 will be recalled. Bajaj Auto has identified a batch of models that have been sold across the country and these models will be recalled. The recalled models will need to be taken to the closest Bajaj auto service station where the faulty starter relay will be replaced. The replacement will be done free of cost and will need 20 minutes.
Owners of the recalled Pulsar 220s are being informed about the required repairs by Bajaj dealers. The fact that the Pulsar 220 DTSi is not equipped with a kick starter means your bike might not start when needed. And you will be stranded wherever you are. If you happen to own a Pulsar 220, then grab the phone and call up your Bajaj auto dealer and get to know if your bike has been recalled. The best way to do it is tell the dealer the chassis number of your bike.
You can find the chassis number of your Pulsar in the user manual as well as on the headstock on the frame of the bike.
