KTM Begins Duke 200 Deliveries In Select Cities
Do not be surprised if you see the KTM Duke 200 zip past you today itself. The KTM Duke 200's deliveries were not publicized much. Bajaj Auto has already started exporting the Duke 200 to Europe too. The first batch has already left Indian shores.
The KTM Duke 200 is being sold at former Bajaj Probiking stores that have been re-branded as KTM showrooms. KTM is expected to add more motorcycles to its line-up starting from late next year.
KTM has intelligently started deliveries of the Duke 200 days before the launch of new colour options of the Honda CBR 250R. Both these models have not much similarities bit for their price range. Priced at Rs.1.17 lakhs, the KTM Duke 200's price is surprisingly low.
But with the Pulsar 200 NS expected to be priced just under Rs.1 lakh, it will have to face lot of domestic competition once it is launched. Another competitor for the KTM Duke 200 is the recently launched Honda CBR 150R which is expected to be priced below that of the Duke 200.
Bajaj is hoping to sell 2,000 units of the Duke 200. Insider's say the KTM Duke 200's price of Rs.1.17 lakhs is only a introductory offer and it will increase in a few months time.
