This is what TVS has revealed about the all new TVS Apache RTR 2012: “The all-new 2012 TVS Apache Series RTR features an all-new split footrest design, on the lines of international motorcycling standards. The rider footrest gets a sporty heel protector. The best part? The legendary Apache ergonomics remain untouched, even after a radical redesign.”
Meanwhile, spy shots of the new Apache RTR 2012 have been surfacing on the internet even before the launch of the bike. From what can be seen from the pictures, the new Apache doesn't look as it belongs to the TVS family, but to Bajaj with strikingly similar design to the Bajaj Pulsar 220, which is a let down.
The engine of the new TVS Apache RTR 2012 remains the same without any increase in power or torque. There has been no information on the price of the new TVS Apache RTR. Let's wait for some more hours to know whether TVS has kept any new surprises with the 2012 Apache RTR.
