New Suzuki Swish 125 Launched At Rs.45,431
The Suzuki Swish's price is set at Rs.45,431 (ex showroom, Delhi). It is powered by a four stroke 125cc engine capable of generating 8.58bhp and 9Nm of torque. Its power and torque figures are similar to that of the Access.
The Suzuki Swish has been launched across the country and it will be available in showrooms soon. The Swish has a peppy design when compared to the more sedate Access. It will be aimed at young buyers and we have no doubt it will be impressive. While its 125cc engine will deliver sufficient power to scorch the tarmac, its telescopic front fork suspension can handle any king of tough road conditions. This will ensure a quick yet comfortable ride.
The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox delivers the engine's power and torque to the wheels very efficiently. The Swish is expected to deliver a mileage of above 42kmpl. mileage is not something that you would expect from a 125cc scooter. It is slightly lighter than the Access and hence we can expect a better mileage from the Swish.
Suzuki had thought by launching another 125 cc scooter, it can reduce pressure on the access. But looking at the Swish's looks and power, Suzuki has landed itself in trouble. The Swish 125 has the potential to attract even more buyers than the Access. Suzuki will not be worried by this. However it must increase its manufacturing capacity soon to ensure there is not much of a waiting list.
