First carbon Bicycle launched In India By TI Cycles

Those who have the passion for bicycles can hereinafter leap with the carbon bicycle to be rolled out by the Chennai based TI Cycles. TI Cycles, an integral part of .2 billion Murugappa Group, launched the Montra bicycle at the price range of Rs 2100- Rs1.5 lakh.

TI Cycles targets to sell 12000 units a year, said its President, adding that the bicycle will be manufactured from the company"s Ambattur facility with new design and fashion. Montra in alloy body is also available from the company, he said. In 2010, TI Cycles sold 3.6 million units and the target for this year is 4.15 million units, he mentioned.
