Honda To Bring 500cc To 1000cc Bikes

Honda, the Japanese auto major is planning to add more motorcycles to its Indian product line-up. Sources say Honda intends to launch 500cc and 1000cc motorcycles in India. Honda which is aiming to reach a dominant position in the Indian two-wheeler market wants to offer a full range of bikes and scooters.

However Honda has not mentioned any time frame in which it will be launching its 1000cc motorcycles. Honda entered the premium bike segment with the CBR250R and the CBR600R could be an ideal addition. This bike sector already has two entrants with the Kawasaki Ninja 650R and the Hyosung GT650r. The Honda CBR600 would be an ideal competitor.
