E-scooter Market To Get Two Models From Hi-Bird

The company is pinning on the hope of reaching more buyers following the incentives announced by the Indian government in its budget for electric vehicles. Already the government in Delhi and Chandigarh have been granting 20% subsidy for electric vehicles in addition to the 15% rebate offered by the central government. In the electric two wheeler segment, Hero Electric dominates with 30%share byway of 80000 units of sale volume a year. The conditions have made TVS also to get back to the electric vehicle business as the company has announced its electric scooter for 2012.
