Hero Honda's New Logo Is Designed By Airtel Brand Creators

The formal split between the partners in Hero Honda, has envisaged the company to avail the global deals. The first such move is getting the consultancy from the London based Wolff Olins for brand identity creation. The consultancy, which has offered its efficiency to Airtel, will involve devising the logo, brand name, and brand positioning, according to the company sources. Wolff Olins is a reputed firm in consultancy having served in domestic and international markets.

Once the split comes into effect, which is slated for this June, Hero group will discard the Honda brand from its products like Splendor and Passion. From then on Hero group will have its own brand identity as soon as possible.
The Hero group aims to create a new sensation by going for such a new brand identity to boost its sale and more important, to step into the global markets. The overseas markets earmarked thus are the Middle East, SE Asia and Latin America.

The CEO and MD of Munjal Group said that the Hero group is looking forward for a rewarding phase in its business mooted by the fast growing economy as a result of sustained GDP rise. He pointed out the increase in the purchase power of the customers from middle class.
