BMW Superbike – All Set To Compete

The German car maker BMW"s aims at selling 50 superbikes as it enters into the two wheeler segment by this year end. In addition to this BMW bikes below 1000cc is also expected to be introduce and the move comes in the wake of selling 23 bikes as of now, said the MD of Navnit Motors.

BMW"s bikes are in the Indian market since January this year and the brands are BMW Motorrad sold through two dealer outlets each in Delhi and in Mumbai being imported by Navnit Motors and Deutsche Motoren. The MD further claimed that there are good demands for the BMW bikes of which S1000RR and R1200 GS have better demand. Altogether there are six models from BMW bikes in India --- R1200R, S1000RR, R1200GS, K1300, K1600GTL and HP2 at the price range of Rs18-25 lakhs, coming under the category of more than 1000cc.
