Bajaj Auto On an Upswing;Sales Up 14%

The company in its statement said motorcycles sales were at 3,18,095 units marking a 14 per cent increase. Bajaj Auto's commercial vehicle sales in July increased 18 per cent to 45,617 units. The company also reported an increase in its exports by 35 per cent to 1,43,996 units.
The Indian two wheeler market is showing signs of continuous growth and Bajaj Auto is making a headway. The company has a product portfolio dominated by motorcycles. The Bajaj Discover is its highest selling commuter bike while the Pulsar is India's highest selling sports bike.
The Pune based two wheeler manufacturer is growing mainly due to the Pulsar and Discover. It is also looking to boost its presence in the International market. It is already selling its bikes in the South East Asian market and the African market. To boost its image as a sports bike manufacturer Bajaj Auto will also launch a 250cc Pulsar. Bajaj Auto might take technical inputs from its European Subsidiary KTM to develop this model
