Enfield's New Classic 500 Variants- Chrome, Storm

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Shaji Koshy, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing said, “Our customers have been demanding the “Chrome" model of Royal Enfield for quite some time now. Both Classic Chrome and Desert Storm are meant to bring more thrills to the customer. With leisure riding catching up rapidly, both these bikes will offer a unique choice to biking enthusiasts. Following the launch of Classic 350 & 500cc in September 2009, we have been continuously equipping our dealerships to take customer satisfaction to the next level. In 2011, we have added 15 dealerships and one Brand Store to our existing network."
The Classic Chrome is heavily inspired by the old school bikes but the technology is modern and top notch. The Classic Chrome as the name suggests has loads of chrome on the exterior. The styling is signature Royal Enfield with unique chrome tanks, wide mud guards and the single paddle seat. In a tribute to Royal Enfields of the 1950s, the Chrome 500 has the emblem of the company on the engine as well as on the speedometer.
The styling is even highlighted by the artistic paint job on the fuel tank. All bikes are hand painted by experienced artists. The Chrome 500 as the name suggests is powered by a 500 cc TwinSpark engine that delivers a mouth watering 27.2bhp. The Chrome 500 is an ideal cruise bike for a long cross country trips. It will deliver the power and performance of a cruise bike but with a vintage loo that will be liked by one and all.
