Hyosung Launches GT650N To Launch New Bike In 2012
Hyosuing will be assembling the GT650N at a plant set up by its joint venture partner Garware Motors. Diya Garware, MD of Garware Motors while speaking about the Hyosung said: “ It is a global success for Hyosung and we want to give you the best of what we have. This bike is a living testament of technological superiority and styling. This bike will surely strengthen your believe in design and ergonomics."
Hainder Ali Khan, the CEO of Garware Motors said: “ Along with the previously launched bikes, the new one is a winner from the start to the end. We are constantly looking to perfect our products with the help of customer support and 24*7 emergency services. We hope to launch another bike by March 2012."
The new Hyosung is cheaper than the Kawasaki Ninja 650 R that is cheaper than the Hyosung GT650R by Rs.40,000. The GT650N is a stripped out model and is aimed at wresting back lost sales caused by the Kawasaki's lower price. The GT650N is cheaper than the GT650rR by $1,000 in the international market.
One can see hints of the Yamaha FZ16 in the Hyosung's headlamp. The other design elements are all similar to the GT650R. The technical specifications remains unchanged. It is powered by a 650cc V-Twin engine. The driving position appears to be more comfortable due to the redesigned handle bar.
The GT650N has several features which include dual front disk brakes, single rear disk brake, six-speed wet clutch gearbox, 17 inch alloy wheels. The fuel tank capacity is 17 litres.
