Bangalore Police Zoom In On Stunt Bikers

Young men, especially the college going kind love motor cycles. Some like their looks, some their power and some their speed. But the motorcycles are considered a tool to impress the girls too. They try various stunts on their bikes to impress their friends and onlookers. These boys attempt stunts such as driving their bike on just the rear wheel, braking late and lifting the rear wheel.

These stunts cannot necessarily be considered safe to the rider as well as other road users. While there have been several cases of college kids getting injured while trying to try such stunts finally there appears to be some action being considered to stop its.

The Bangalore traffic police has decided to have a hawk eye on stunt bikers around city colleges after several instances of road accidents. The traffic police has now created squads that will be moving around hot spots of stunt biking and catch the perpetrators red handed.

The increased vigilance by the traffic police seems to have caught stunt bikers off guard. The Police have already canceled driving licenses of 15 people who were found to be driving dangerously. Police have said they will also monitor drunken driving, usage of mobiles while driving and breaking traffic signals more keenly to control the menace of people breaking traffic rules.
