Honda, the world's leading two wheeler manufacturer has unveiled the new 2012 Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade superbike. The new model celebrates 20 years of the CBR1000 which was first launched in 1991. The 2012 Fireblade has the same engine specifications as its previous model. Honda has added new stylish exterior designs along with new features such as new alloy wheels, better suspension tuning, better looking instrument cluster and other cosmetic changes.

The frontal design as well as the tail look different and make the CBR1000 RR look even more aggressive. The new suspension used in the front is a larger by 43 millimetres and offers improved stability. The rear suspension also provides a better ride due to the use of double tube technology.

The 2012 Fireblade's engine is the same 999cc four cylinder MPFI Inline petrol powertrain capable of generating awesome amounts of power. Honda has retuned the engine to deliver better and smoother performance.

As far as the cosmetic changes for the CBR 1000RR, the new alloy wheels are a highlight. The wheels are finished in metallic black and their 12 spoke layout offers a sporty look. The wheels are made using lighter aluminium to reduced the superbike's total weight. The instrument panel of the 2012 Fireblade has a new LCD display which has a new lap timer, gear indicator, tachometer and four display modes.
