Mahindra To Launch New Stallio In November

Mahindra and Mahindra has announced it would be re-launching the Stallio motorcycle by November. The company had discontinued production of the Stallio following complaints of faulty parts. An official from Mahindra Two Wheelers is quoted to have said: “ Stallio is expected to be in the market again by November this year."

The Stallio was Mahindra first motorcycle after it started its two wheeler division. The motorcycle was plagued by several issues. Buyers were not satisfied by the Stallio's performance or build quality. One of the primary complaint on the Stallio was its faulty transmission.

Mahindra stopped production of the Stallio within one year of its introduction. The company had said the halt would be a temporary one and was needed to sort out the issues in the motorcycle. The Stallio will now make a comeback in November after production was stopped in February this year.

The Mahindra Two wheelers official has also said the company would concentrate only on the Stallio in the near future and has said there was no time line for the launch of the proposed 300cc Mojo motorcycle. He added the company might consider increasing prices of its scooters in the next couple of months.
