Agusta Joins Super Bike Race In India

MV Agusta joins several international super bike brands such as Ducati, Hyosung and Harley Davidson. Agusta will soon be joined by Triumph motorcycles from the UK. Agusta has three major models in its line-up. The flagship F4, F3 and Brutales. The company is expected to bring all these three models to India.
Agusta's CEO Giovanni Castiglioni and commercial Director Umberto Uccelli will be launching the company's operations in India. The Italian super bike manufacturer believes emerging markets such as India offer a great opportunity for growth. Agusta will initially bring in its models through the CBU route and might begin local production depending on sales.
The top model from Agusta is the F4 which is currently available in two variants. The 2012 version already available in Europe is powered bu a four cylinder 201bhp engine. The F4 R, the second variant has the same engine but its power has been slightly reduced to 195.2bhp. Agusta's cheapest bike will probably be the Brutale. It is a naked bike and is powered by a 1078cc engine capable of churning out 144bhp.
