Bajaj Posts Best Ever October Sales
Bajaj had sold 329,776 vehicles in October 2010. The company which builds the Pulsar and Discover motorcycles is on a high after this improved sales. The fact that it will be launching a brand new Pulsar has increased expectations. It is going strong on the international front too with exports increasing by 19.53 per cent to 131,948 units.
Bajaj Auto also posted increased sales of its three wheeler division. The company's total sales stood at 395,274 marking a 6.6 per cent increase in sales. Bajaj has said it had lost production of about 25,000 units in its Pantanagar plant in early October due to an imposition of curfew.
Bajaj Auto has stated it will soon launch a new Pulsar and this could also had an impact on its sales. We expect several buyers would have postponed buying a Pulsar in anticipation of the Pulsar model. We expect the new model to be launched by the end of this year.
