TVS Records Rise In sale

The third largest two wheeler maker in Indian TVS Motor Co mustered a rise in its sale of vehicles during October 2009 with 48%. The volume was 1,95,271 units against 1,31,941 units in October 2009. the net sale volume for the six month period from April - October was 1,18,405 units. In the particular month, TVS secured a two wheeler sale of 1,91,822 units making a rise of 46% from the previous year"s 1,31,029 units.

The cumulative TVS sale for the said six month period stood at an increased 34% by selling 11,62,861 units against 8,68,509 units in April - October 2009. the sale in domestic market too saw a rise of 45% with the sale of 1,18,563 units in last October to 1,73,771 units this October. The sale volume of TVS received a whooping 58% with the sale of 44,659 units in this October against 28,301 units in last October. There is an increase of 49% in motorcycle sale with the volume of 56,465 units in October 2009 to 84,233 units in this October.

The export market too was on the rise by 45% with the sale of TVS had a good stint in its sale of three wheelers by selling 3449 units against 912 units in the last year. This made the cumulative three wheeler sale in October 2010 to 21,204 units making a growth of 232% from October 2009.
