TVS Motors Sale Soared In September

TVS Motors, a niche name in the Indian two wheeler market is marking its presence in the field with its all time sale of 1,88,005 units in a single month, September 2010. This hinted an increase by 30.78% (1,43,753units) than the one achieved last year same period. Another report claims that the company yielded an increase of 29.62% (with sale of 1,84,783 units) against 1,42,553 units in September 2009.

TVS Motorcycles alone constituted an increase of 34.03% (81,381 units) against 60,718 units in September 2009, while domestic sale of two wheelers in the last month was 1,65,418 units, an increase of 25.05% than 1,32,281 units in September 2009. The company exported 19,365 units with an increase of 8.52% from 10,272 units in the same month last year. The sale of three wheelers in September 2010 was 3,222 units against 1200 units in the same month 2009.
