TVS Launches Its RTR Hyper Edge Apache

TVS has no second thought to enter the fueled two wheeler market. It has launched it new Apache RTR 160 bike under Hyper Edge symbol.

However, there is no special element to boast in this model. The industry analysts feel that TVS has not timed the launch and there has been no serious concern over the launch. This new arrival does not invite any public attention and the market is no longer feasible for this sort of introduction, they added. This new Apache RTR Hyper Edge is without the usual TVS glitter as it cannot claim any new features other than found in the old Apache 160. the major look is the new sticker of Hyper Edge on the bike, fuel, tanker and exhaust and the pattern.

New elements are in the form of detachable rear fender which too is already in old Apache RTR 180; aerodynamic air scoops, split grab rails, racing foot pegs, engine faring, racing GT strip, new silencer and the forged brake lever are new to this bike.

Another change is the retaining of the existing price at Rs 65,197. the overall impression from the industry is that TVS has not raised up to its level in this new launch. The company has failed to analyze the market strategy during such new launches. TVS has failed to tune its thought to meet the target customers.
