Suzuki Two Wheelers Recorded 44% Increase In Sales
Due to the overwhelming response from the customers for GS150R , the 150cc motorcycle and the automatic 125cc scooter, Access 125, Suzuki two wheelers have achieved this sales. Suzuki has also got Zeus and Heat motorcycles.
Atul Gupta, vice- president, sales and marketing, at Suzuki Motorcycle India, stated that, Suzuki has kept its promise in delivering superior technology which has been proven worldwide and it now intends to showcase the same in India. Also, the company will continue to keep the growth momentum in upcoming months too.
With the launch of the two new super bikes GSX-R1000 and Bandit, Suzuki is all set to support the craziest and sportiest young enthusiasts who are looking for these mean machines. The company is targeting to sell together over 200 units in the first year. In the case of Hayabusa and Intruder also the superbikes launched by Suzuki before in India, Suzuki Motorcycles had sold about 200 units of those bikes in the first year.
Suzuki GSX-R1000 costs Rs. 12.75 lakh. Suzuki Bandit (1255cc) costs Rs. 8.5 lakhs. Both the models are successful worldwide and will definitely satisfy the bike enthusiasts. After seperating from TVS and starting its own business in India, Suzuki was facing tough period as its initial products Zeus, Heat were not selling as expected. But now, with GS150R (150cc 6 gears motorcycle) and the automatic scooter Access 125, Suzuki is now enjoying a promising future in the Indian bike market. Also, the good news is that, Suzuki is set to launch 3 more products in the next 18 months!
