Yamaha Launches YBR 125, SZ and SZ-X

Yamaha Motor India launched three new motorcycles for the Indian market. The brand's ambassador, John Abraham, introduced the three bikes, YBR 125, SZ and SZ-X. The three motorcycles are priced between Rs.47,000 to Rs. 52,000. The SZ and SZ-X variants are powered by 153 cc engine while the Yamaha YBR 125 will be powered by 123 cc engine.

According to India Yamaha Motors CEO and Managing Director Yukimine Tsuji, the launch of these three bikes are in line with Yamaha's true commitment to provide world class product to its customers. Yamaha is confident that these bikes will capture the imagination of the whole generation of bikers who are looking for something extra.

The YBR 125 has been priced at Rs 47,000 and the SZ and SZ-X are priced at Rs 49,000 and 52,000 ex-showroom Delhi, respectively. Keeping in mind the fact that Bajaj is the leader in this segment it needs to be the most cautious against Yamaha"s new products in the 150 cc segment.
Yamaha is moving slowly into the mass segment by providing more product choices to its customers. It also aims in establishing business with Tier II and Tier III regions by opening new show rooms and service centers. Now, the competition in the 125 cc and entry level 150 cc bikes is heating up!
