Hero Honda Retains No.1 Rank For The 18th Time
Being in the 18th consecutive time that the company has recorded sale of over 3 lakh units in a single month, Hero Honda's sales is mainly due to the 7 variants of its 100cc motorcycles with a robust engine, good comfort, durable quality, decent resale value and widest dealer network in India.
Hero Honda's Senior Vice President for Marketing and Sales, Mr. Anil Dua said that the company is quite happy with the consistent sales growth in first quarter (Jan - Jun 2010-2011) which has set a positive tone for the remaining months of the financial year.
Hero Honda sold 12,34,039 motorcycles and scooter which is 10.28% more than 11,18,987 bikes sold in the same period a year ago. Hero Honda's Pleasure, the automatic scooter also adds to the company's sales as over 25,000 units are sold per month.
