New Unit Of Hero Honda To Be In Himachal

The fourth unit of Hero Honda will come off in Himachal at Baddi-Barrotiwala Nalagarh. The move is to increase the production capacity this year by making the company the world largest two wheeler maker.

Hero Honda is in touch with the state government in this regard for acquiring 2000 acres of land, revealed a government official. The proposal to acquire land at Solan district is to improve communication of the company to Northern India. This has been revealed by the company officials who went for inspection at Solan and Srimalur districts.

Hero Honda is expecting an increase in the existing volume of 5.4million units which will soon exhaust making the demand spree tight. In the last fiscal year, the company sold 4 million units and the current fiscal is expected to peak to 5 million.
