Harley Owners Group Will Soon Be In India

Harley Owners Group(HOG) will soon be set up in our country by the American premium bike maker Harley Davidson. According to Harley-Davidson Marketing Director, Sanjay Tripathi, the company is planning to start the HOG sometime in October and any person who buys a Harley bike automatically becomes the member of HOG.

Harley Davidson has 4 dealerships in India Harley Davidson has sold more than 200 bikes in India, which are priced between Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 35 lakh.

Harley Davidson entered India, after the Indian Government allowed to import high capacity powered motorcycles in 2007 from the US. They pay a 110 percent duty on the import of each bike.

Harley's 4 dealerships are located in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Mumbai. The company plans to add another dealership in Bangalore this month.
