Once the facility becomes fully operational the company will derive components from its US plant and the technicians at the facility will start assembling the bikes. The company has been receiving global competitors in the form of BMW which said it is launching its motorcycle in India by this December. BMW has already identified three dealers for this purpose. This comes in the wake of the net growth in the Indian two wheeler market, 25.86% during April-September 2010, according to SIAM. The major beneficiaries out of this growth are the domestic players, Hero Honda, Bajaj and TVS Motor.
