Electric Bike Rally For The Environment
30 Hero Electric bikes were used in the rally. Hero Electric had been the leading e-bike seller and the company is a sister concern of Hero Group.
30,000 electric bikes are used in Delhi, thanks to the Government's keen interest in pollution free environment and its benefits to electric vehicle owners such as subsidy and tax rebate.
Hero Electric currently has total of 7 model bikes in India which include Wave DX , Esprint , Maxi , Wave DX With Extra Miles, Zippy, Optima, Optima Plus.
During the rally, the CEO of Hero Electric, Sohinder Gill mentioned that the company is a major player in promoting the cause of green transportation for a cleaner future. He thanked the Delhi Government for the Rally event and said that the initiative on hero electric bikes will become significant start for future programmes.
