Eicher Motors profit triples for the June quarter
The Net profits during January to June period shot up to almost triple times to Rs. 95 crore and the net sales rose by 71 percent to Rs. 2,070 crore.
Eicher's Royal Enfield is working hard at meeting the ever- increasing demand for its Classic model. At total sales of 24,963 units in the first half of the year, Royal Enfield registered a 1.7 per cent increase over the 24,551 units sold in the same period last year.
The economic growth is one of the major reasons for upcoming government and private projects, which in turn demands the purchase of heavy vehicles. The commerical vehicle segment in India is witnessing a strong growth in recent times and hopefully, will continue in future.
