New Prices For Bajaj Auto From New Year, 2011.
The revision from Bajaj for its vehicles will be from Rs 1000, said the company"s President for two wheelers. He attributed the hike to the increase in the material inputs but justified that the products of Bajaj prove the value for money in any sort of competition.
He said Bajaj would not face any problems in the sales due to this proposed rise in prices. The strategy is to retain its status as the second largest in motorcycles after Hero Honda and to gain more in the future. For this the facilities were dissected for Pulsar and Discover. Recently the product under its JV with the Kawasaki, Ninja 250cc was launched and there is a plan to introduce a product with the tie-up of KTM of Austria. The vehicle is to be assembled in the company"s Chakan plant in 2011.
