Bajaj : Competition High After Hero Honda Split

By By: Vicky.in

The break away of the partners in Hero Honda Motors - Hero Motors and Honda Motors- is certain now and has given a sort of breathing gap for smaller players. However, the country"s top most contender for the company, Bajaj takes it in another way.

The Chairman of Bajaj group seemed to have expressed the reservations over the split"s consequence. He indicated that the competition might be stronger than people may think of and he said the situation will be hyper competitive. The Bajaj chairman hinted that such a healthy competition may end up with good results for the consumers. He acknowledged that the split will eventually lead Hero Motors to go on its own for R&D structure and he was sure that the Hero Motors would come up with its clean chit and would be a strong competitive to Bajaj.

Chairman of Bajaj group felt that Munjal group will take in the right spirit to lead the show in the new horizon, but cautioned that everything will be known only at the end of the agreement between Honda and Hero - 2014. The events between the two partners are better known in the industry - the 26 year old partnership is getting closure with Hero Motors buying 26% share of Honda Motors. Once the split comes officially both the partners will do the business on their individual brand name and company name it is learnt.
