Amara Raja Batteries Tie Up With Honda

Amara Raja Batteries company, that sell Amaron batteries has signed a deal with Japan"s Honda in order to develop a value regulated lead acid battery.

Amara's Chief Financial Officer K Suresh, said that if the implementation is positive, the Amaron batteries will be used in all Honda bikes in India and may also be exported.

Hero Honda two wheelers may also get the Amara Raja Batteries along with their use in Honda bikes. The company"s manufacturing facility can produce 18 lakh batteries per annum.

According to the reports of a newspaper, Amara Raja will make new batteries by the end of financial year and after the approval from the two wheeler companies, will commence the production in full swing.
