Bajaj XCD 125 DTS-Si - Mileage King

Bajaj Auto launched their new product in the market. The bike has been named Bajaj XCD 125 DTS-Si and priced at around Rs. 42000. The company hopes to bridge the gap between the 100 cc and 150 cc bikes in the market with this new product. Bajaj is claiming that this 125 cc bike will exceed the mileage of all other bikes including the 100 cc bikes, at 109 km pl.

The bike is fitted with DTS-Si (Digital Twin Spark Swirl Induction) Engine. The inlet and outlet ports in the DTS-Si engine are placed at an offset position as compared to previous DTS-i engine. This offset positioning generates a higher swirl and turbulence in the air fuel mixture inside the engine which enhances combustion efficiency further in addition to this engine also has a microprocessor and twin plugs.

The exhaust system of this bike is revolutionary with Exhaust TEC. In which TEC stands for 'Torque expansion chamber' which drastically improves engine torque at low revs without compromising anything at mid or high engine revs. It has been extensively optimized to get the maximum possible performance out of the engine. The Silencer gives out a pleasant sounding low frequency sound. Silencer sound meets the mandatory current noise norms & gives the bike an identity.

The digital speedometer of this bike processes information from the wheel speed sensor and displays it on the LCD with the help of microprocessor. The LCD has an orange back light with the figures in black. The bike has features like the LED tail lamps and full back engine with black alloys. The air ducts near tank. The bike has four gears and the shift pattern is all down. People might complain that XCD doesn't look different from the other Bajaj models, and because of this XCD manages to look handsome.
