Xplore With XUV500: A Journey To Discover Gujarat & Its Different Colors With The Mahindra XUV500
The Mahindra XUV500 is a popular SUV in the Indian market. The XUV500 is known for offering a host of features, connected technology and a strong performance from its powertrain. The XUV500 also comes with premium interiors and a plush cabin, making it perfectly suited for a road trip across any terrain or conditions India has to offer.

To showcase these capabilities of the Mahindra XUV500, the company has started a new journey called 'Xplore with XUV500'. This series takes 12 individual creators on a roadtrip with five XUV500 SUVs through the state of Gujarat.
This road trip not only tests the capabilities of the XUV500, but also gives the creators a chance to explore a new world away from the bustling cities and towns of India.

The road trip with the Mahindra XUV500 also gives the artists a chance to go that much further away from civilisation, and discover landscapes that most cannot imagine.

The 'Xplore with XUV500' road trip started off from the old-city of Ahmedabad during the festival of Uttarayan or Makar Sankranti. This festival celebrates the end of the winter period and the beginning of spring. In the old city of Ahmedabad and the state of Gujarat, the festival is celebrated by flying kites and filling the skies with their colours.

Designed to find more adventures and colours across Gujarat, the road trip escapes the bustling cities and towns and makes its way to the country's border in Kutch. It is here, the Mahindra XUV500 and its companions discover 'The Longest Ramp Walk'; a number of small tribes each with their own sense of fashion, colour and style. The artists describe this journey as a ramp walk, because of the changing fashion at every step.

Moving further into the vast barren desert of Kutch, the 12 artists come across the 'Vanishing Festival', also called the Rann Utsav. The festival of Rann Utsav happens in the middle of the desert and comes alive for just a few days in a year. The festival brings together a large number of people with different cultures, backgrounds and stories to tell, before vanishing entirely.

The fourth chapter of the Xplore with XUV500, takes the creators on a journey to Ajrakhpur to experience the embodiment of patience, rhythm and craft. Ajrakhpur is home to 'Ajrakh', acclaimed internationally as one of the most intricate techniques of handicrafts.

This has been the journey so far and the Mahindra XUV500 has been a part of it from the start. The month-long road trip will continue till the end of March 2020 and you can follow the journey on Youtube and Facebook.
