Zotye T700 Is A Rip-Off Porsche Macan Could See Legal Action
China is known to build best rip-off products, it is very difficult to tell the difference between real and knock-off. They have recently started adopting design and styling cues in their local vehicles as well.
Zotye is a Chinese automobile manufacturer and has a few products on offer in their market. They have now launched their most luxurious product known as the T700 SUV model.
Porsche, however, seems to have taken offence to the launch of Zotye T700. The Chinese model is identical to the German manufacturers Macan model that is popular globally.
Now the German manufacturer is supposedly going to sought legal action against Zotye. We wonder how successful a lawsuit against a Chinese maker would be as their system does not go against its own people.
This is not the first time a Chinese automobile manufacturer has created a vehicle identical to another popular model. Previously they had imitated one of Range Rover models, who had tried taking legal action against the manufacturer
Copying is bad for business and most manufacturers spend a lot of money in development and creation of design and styling. They also spend a lot of money in registering and achieving patents for their models.
