Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Buys Ferrari Roma Supercar – Here’s Why It Became Viral On Social Media
Zomato CEO and founder Deepinder Goyal recently bought a new Ferrari Roma supercar worth Rs 4.3 Crore. Moreover, this news along with the images has now gone viral on social media.
While Mr Goyal is fond of supercars and already has a few high-end rides in his garage, his latest ride the Ferrari Roma has caught the attention of netizens in the country as it was photographed near Zomato headquarters in Gurugram.
What's really interesting is that the Ferrari Roma bought by Mr Goyal sported red colour that is very similar to the red colour used in the Zomato logo. This sparked netizens to share images of Mr Goyal's new Ferrari with witty captions.
That being said, the Ferrari Roma is a gorgeous-looking supercar and it has been named in honour of Italy's capital city, and the Italian supercar's first public unveil itself was made in Rome back in 2019.
Under the bonnet, the Ferrari Roma packs in a 3.9-litre, turbocharged, V8 engine that is capable of churning out 611bhp of peak power between 5,750 and 7,500rpm. Furthermore, thanks to turbocharging, 761Nm of peak torque is available between 3,000rpm and 5,750rpm.
It is also worth mentioning that the Ferrari Roma supercar comes with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and this transmission is shared with the Ferrari SF90 supercar as well. According to Ferrari, this new transmission weighs 6kg less than the 7-speed transmission in the Ferrari Portofino supercar.
As a result, the Ferrari Roma can accelerate to 100km/h from a standstill in just 3.4 seconds, whereas 200km/h comes in just 9.3 seconds. In addition to that, Ferrari claims that the Roma has a top speed in excess of 320km/h.
That being said, we are not sure if Mr Goyal will be testing these figures for himself as he will be busy trying to make sure he does not break any traffic rules. That being said, Mr Goyal's other note-worthy cars include Lamborghini Urus and Porsche 911 Carrera S.

Though many successful startup CEOs and celebrities have purchased numerous supercars in the past, one of the reasons for Mr Goyal's Ferrari to go viral could be associated with the colour of the car itself as it perfectly matches with the logo of his company.
