World's Smallest Road Legal Car
World's smallest road legal car is actually inspired and built using a children's television character, Postman Pat's car. The car, called Wind-Up, is the work of Perry Watkins from the United Kingdom.
The car, which is incredible small, is still capable of seating a person, who is also the driver. With a full set of road legal car accessories such as door mirrors, lights, indicators etc., Wind-Up can travel on public roads like any other car.

Perry Watkins, who already holds the record for the world's lowest car, searched on eBay for an old Postman Pat coin-in-the slot childrens ride. The ride was not functional, but all Watkins needed was the fiberglass body.

Watkins then went on to reinforce the body with a steel frame and fitted it on a quad bike's platform.

Wind-Up has a small, but capable 150cc four stroke engine.

The dimensions of the car is as follows :104.14 cm (41 in) high, 66.04 cm (26 in) wide and 132.08 cm (52 in) long.

The car has functional lights, windshield wipers, indicators and even faux racing exhaust pipes, along with sporty flame body graphics.

Another feature of the car, which is also why the car has the name Wind-Up, is the large wind-up key at the rear. However, the wind-up key is only for show and nonfunctional.

Getting inside the Wind-Up is the only laborious job, which involves lifting the body and pulling it back on top of you.
