The World's Fastest Super Luxury Bus
How fast can a bus go? 60Kmph? 100Kmph? 120Kmph? No, the answer is an incredible 250kmph! The bus, aptly named as the Super Bus can reach a top speed of 250kmph without breaking a sweat. It not only offers speed but also luxury too. 23 passengers can travel in the Super Bus amidst ample luxury and comfort.
The Super Bus has been developed by innovators from Netherlands lead by a former astronaut. The Netherlands' Delft University of Technology under the direction of Professor Wubbo Ockels undertook this awesome project. The Super Bus was developed as a fast mass transport between the Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The Super Bus is 15 metres long and is powered by electricity. To make the Super Bus even more eco-friendly, the lithuium ion batteries are charged using solar panels pitted to the roof. Light weight materials have been used to build the Super Bus to ensure it is fast and handles well. The driver of the Super Bus sits in the middle of the cockpit.
The world's fastest bus was recently given road legal status by Netherlands authorities. The bus is expected to ply between the two Gulf cities on a specially built 'fast lane'. The Super Bus is expected to complete the 120 kilometre journey between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in just 30 minutes. The journey will be fast exciting and expensive too. Until the Super Bus becomes a little less expensive we would still prefer the regular bus. Right?
