World Cup Final Goal Recreated By Volkswagen
After the grand 1-0 victory for Germany in the FIFA 2014 finals, Phillip Lahm, captain, lifted the trophy. This was a very special win for them. Observing this, the German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen, joined the celebration by uniquely recreating the goal.
VW has released a video which features virtual Golf GTIs, and has recreated the proud win of the football team. Volkswagen's marketing department was quick to come up with this video to celebrate their grand win over Argentina.
Using 22 virtual cars, VW has created Mario Götze goal that was scored during extra time. The cars carrying similar colours to the German and Argentinian team jerseys, make it more interesting.

The Golf GTIs are available in two options. Both are 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder engines. The standard engine produces 220 PS whereas the performance version delivers 230 PS. Both the vehicles produce 350 Nm torque and are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is an optional 6-speed, dual clutch, automatic gearbox version as well.
The performance version of the GTI does 0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds whereas the standard version falls short by 0.1 seconds. Both the GTI versions have a restricted top speed of 250km/h.
