Regular people aiming for a Guinness World Record title regularly perform daredevil stunts, show off their strength, try eating a lot, etc,. You know, the regular stuff. But if you are among the few with lots of cash at your disposal, the sort of record you would attempt changes somewhat.
For instance, you would perhaps try to build the most expensive bike in the world, made from gold and other precious metal. Just what a rich Turkish millionaire, Tarhan Telli did. Take a look.

Golden frame
Tarhan Telli, a motorcycle enthusiast has submitted his creation to Guinness Book of World Records to win the title of the world's most expensive motorcycle. That's because this bike has a frame from from gold.

Rustic
Looking at the bike it seems like it has been salvaged from the bottom of the ocean after years. But, that rustic and worn out facade is only meant to hide the bling and provide an artistic feel.

Medusa
The bike's look sports a Greek mythology theme and hence wears a ‘Medusa head' badge on the tank, while snakes adorn the fenders.

Hermes
Also, the engine wears a medallion with a image of Hermes's face sculpted on it.

Design
The bike has been designed like a classic, low slung custom cruiser, with large fenders and a stretched out front forks.

Engine
The engine is a 1801cc RevTech V-Twin that delivers 125 HP.

Transmission
Power is managed by a six speed gearbox.

Weight
The bike weighs 700 pounds or 317 kg.

Build time
The bike took Tarhan Telli a full year to build.

Current record holder
At present, the most the Guinness record title for the most expensive bike is held by the MTT Turbine, which has a price tag of just $185,000.

Price
Telli has not publicly disclosed the exact cost of the bike, but experts estimate the golden frame alone could be worth a million dollars or more.
