Watch A Wrecking Ball Smash Into Cars From The Fate Of The Furious
The Fate of the Furious, the eighth instalment of the franchise of Dom’s globetrotting family of car-action superstars reveals a giant wrecking ball smashing into cars.
The Fast & Furious franchise has always found different new ways to crush cars and destroy them. We have seen cars crashing into trains, been thrown off bridges by giant vaults, as well as out of aeroplanes.

And in one of the sequences in the upcoming franchise, The Fate of the Furious, director F. Gary Gray and the team of stunt coordinators went old school, building a massive steel wrecking ball to smash through a fleet of enemy vehicles.

The impressive stunt is part of a nighttime chase sequence filmed in Berlin, where Dominic Toretto and his team rob an EMP and get chased by a fleet of vehicles.
The behind-the-scenes video reveals how the destructive stunt was executed. Director Gray and the stunt coordinators built the massive wrecking ball out of steel for the movie.
The steel wrecking ball weighs 32,000 pounds (approx. 14,500kg), it then broke into the moving cars at 40mph (64km/h).

It is evident to say that the wrecking ball did some severe damage as there was hardly anything left of the cars after the stunt, which was wrecked beyond comprehension.
