The End Of The World Is Here — Get The Mad Max Cars Out

The Wasteland Weekend is an annual four-day festival in honour of the Mad Max movie franchise and gives fans a chance to live in the mad post-apocalyptic world portrayed in the film.

The festival has been going on since 2010 in the Mojave desert in Southern California since 2010 and has steadily been growing in numbers. Fans of Mad Max dress the part and come in the craziest cars possible, cars which mirror the post-apocalyptic theme of the movie. In 2015, the festival even featured the hull of the ship that played the Exxon Valdez in the 1995 thriller Waterworld.

This year's Wasteland Weekend will be held from September 22 to 25, 2016. The event is for adults only.
