'Driving the Future': Valeo's Eco-Friendly Tech on Display at IAA!
Global mobility tech leader, Valeo, will present its full range of environmentally friendly and safety-centric transport solutions during the upcoming IAA Mobility event in 2023. This includes unveiling their new innovative product '6-in1 eAxle'. Their offerings span from low to high voltage systems for all vehicles.
Valeo, a global leader in mobility technology, is dedicated to delivering affordable eco-friendly and safe transportation solutions across the globe. The company will showcase its full range of offerings at its booth Hall A2/C10 during IAA Mobility 2023, demonstrating how it supports industry transformation through both hardware and software.
The comprehensive portfolio includes electrification solutions for all vehicles, from cars to bikes and light four-wheelers. These span low-voltage 48V systems to high voltage platforms. Valeo's new 6-in-1 eAxle will be unveiled at the event, integrating multiple components like an inverter, on-board charger, DC/DC converter, power distribution unit and eMotor into one unit for optimal performance.
Clean Motion's EVIG droid will also feature at the Valeo booth. This three-wheeler is powered by Valeo e-access powertrain and solar panels, offering efficient last-mile delivery services in urban areas due to its lightweight design and flexible cargo space.
Valeo acknowledges that effective thermal management is crucial for efficient electrification. To ensure optimal battery performance while minimizing environmental impact, Valeo offers advanced technologies like their Smart Heat Pump which they'll introduce in Munich.
In terms of future automobiles featuring seamless connectivity and automated driving capabilities, Valeo stands out with products designed around safety and user comfort. Their stand will host 'the Cocoon', a display of their latest ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) products centered around software integration.
As pioneers in ADAS technology development globally, Valeo has developed AI-based software stacks for signal processing, data fusion, and vehicle control among others. This stack can be hosted centrally or via zone controllers,a service offered by them.
In partnership with BMW & Deutsche Telekom, Valeo plans to demonstrate tele-operated parking services at their booth showcasing potential future services like remote valet parkingLighting plays a key role not only in enhancing safety but also as a branding tool.
Valeo has leveraged hardware & software techologies to develop digital twins that help clients manage multi LED lighting characteristics, integrate vehicle specifications & provide real time holistic design visualizations.
Aiming towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Valeo adopts circular economy principles starting from product conception phase. They make conscious decisions regarding material selection, technology usage, & design choices.
At IAA Mobility 2023, the company aims to introduce Canopy, the first wiper blade designed to reduce CO2 emissions by 61% compared to traditional ones. Also on display would be PURELIGHT, a concept headlamp made with bio-sourced materials using additive manufacturing techniques ensuring reusability & longer life cycle.
