Mahindra does have some extraordinary SUVs in their fleet that captivates the hearts of car enthusiasts and everyday drivers alike. With their sturdy build, spacious interiors, and reliable engines, these SUVs have become the go-to choice for families, adventure seekers, and urban commuters.
With the popularity comes the waiting period - almost every SUV under Mahindra's belt has a very long waiting period; some even get a waiting period of more than a year and a half. This article discusses the updated waiting period for these mighty SUVs in June 2023.

The Bolero offers a relatively short waiting period of just a few weeks, while the Bolero Neo has a slightly longer waiting time of up to a month. The Scorpio Classic, offered in two variants, S and S11, has a substantial waiting period of up to 8 months.
The Mahindra Thar is the one hot hunk in their fleet, and the SUV is offered in multiple powertrains and has multiple variants. The RWD version of the three-door Mahindra Thar is admired by many.

However, acquiring this model's hard top diesel variant comes with an extensive waiting period of up to one and a half years, while the petrol variant has a shorter waiting period of just one month.
For those looking for adventure, the Thar with 4WD, the waiting period is reduced to a more manageable three to four weeks. But they can change according to the powertrains.
XUV300 is one of Mahindra's top selling SUV. There is a significant change in the Mahindra XUV300's waiting period, the base W4 variant has a waiting period of up to 10 months.

The mid-spec W6 and the W8 variant have a four-month waiting period. Whereas the W8 Optional variant has a shorter waiting period of just six weeks, the top-spec automatic variant has a waiting period of up to 17 weeks.
The Socrpio N has the longest waiting period when compared with other models. The mid-level Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 trim has a lengthy waiting period of 70 to 75 weeks, equivalent to one and a half years.

Similarly, the Z2 trim requires a waiting period of 50 to 55 weeks. The diesel variants, Z6 and Z8, also have similar waiting periods. The top-end Z8 L variant has a waiting period of up to 40 weeks.
The waiting period for certain variants of the Mahindra XUV700 has recently been reduced. However, for variants like the AX7 L, customers may still have to wait up to 14 months.

The entry-level MX and AX3 variants of the XUV700 have a waiting period ranging from six and a half months to seven months. The AX5 has a waiting period of up to 8 months, while the AX7 has a waiting period between 47 and 50 weeks.
